While summer hasn’t officially ended, by the time September rolls around the seasons will have already begun their transition into the fall. We’ve had quite the August and September will likely be filled with lots of excitement as well. The seasons don’t wait for the calendar to match as they march towards their next phase, and neither will we. By the time we officially arrive in Autumn, we will have arrived in Canada. This is why we have chosen a picture of Victoria Harbour for our monthly desktop wallpaper.
While we are not looking forward to the 14-days in mandatory lockdown upon our arrival in Canada, we can certainly understand why. By the time we are set free, we will be able to explore the beautiful west coast of Canada and admire the changing colours of the trees. We will hopefully have a few weeks of hiking weather before the inevitable rain arrives sometime in October. We are preparing for this mentally, as we have both spent the last 3+ years in perpetual summer in Mexico. In many ways, we’re looking forward to cooling off.
Victoria is one of our most likely travel destinations upon our return to BC. This is one of the most beautiful cities in the province. We have several friends who live here that we would like to visit. There are many sights to see in the city, and a nice long walk along the waterfront is the best way to take in some great views. Victoria is also a great place to go hiking, and there are many easy trails just outside of the city to escape civilization.
We hope you enjoy our latest desktop wallpaper. These desktop wallpapers have been a monthly feature since 2018. It has been a fun way of showcasing pictures from some of the amazing places we’ve visited. We hope you enjoy our latest installment and are looking forward to our October wallpaper coming soon! Happy travels!
